It is the year 2097. The earth is dead.
The last Scientist lives in an observatory on the top of a desolate mountain. Every day, she analyzes the planet for signs of nature’s return, never finding a flicker of hope.
One day she is visited by a Magician. He claims to be searching for the “Cosmic Garden”, a mysterious long-lost place hidden somewhere in the Solar System. There, he will find the Eternal Seed which has the power to restore all life on earth. All he needs is a spaceship and a capable pilot to help him travel through the galaxy.
Understandably, The Scientist believes he is crazy. But, with nothing to lose (and weirdly intrigued by his eccentric charms) she decides to help The Magician. Together they board Pegasus 3000, the last spaceship on Earth. Using her sharp intelligence, The Scientist is able to commandeer the ship.
The two embark on an epic journey. Through a combination of science and magic, they navigate the stars, brave the intense pressure of Mars, explore the mysterious clouds of Neptune, and much more.
The cool, calm Scientist and the fiery, intense Magician make the perfect team. Eventually, their partnership blooms into something much deeper… But all is not well: The Magician’s heavy use of his powers eventually takes a toll on him, and a mysterious illness threatens to cut his journey short. The Scientist does all she can to heal him but none of her treatments and medicines have any effect.
Just when all hope seems lost, they finally find The Cosmic Garden on Pluto, the forgotten planet. It is a place of breath-taking beauty, inspiring mystery, and teeming with exotic life. There they claim the promised reward: The Eternal Seed.
But their happiness is short lived as The Magician’s condition worsens: He will not make the journey back to Earth. He urges The Scientist to go on and save the world.
Unwilling to lose her friend, the Scientist wracks her brain to find a solution. Holding the Eternal Seed in her hand, she considers an unforgivable option…
